Norfolk Southern names seven new management positions
This seems like the usual cross-training rotation of executives at NS. The problem is, they never rotate the middle level guys. NS is has putrid stagnation at the director/asst. director level in many departments.
All of this movement of high level employees signals a reaction to trouble at NS.
I wonder if the first order of business is a vote on new compensation packages
They really need a VP of “Color Coordination”, or some such. I loved New York Central’s black, but NS needs something else. Maybe a person that grew up in Jersey Central territory.
