If I’m not mistaken NS has 4 road slugs (RPE4C) numbered 700 - 703 that are mated to GP40-2’s. Other slugs on the NS are 912-913 (RPE4) and 914-941 (RPE4D). There may be more. My knowledge of the NS is limited.
Slugs. Aren’t they neat little oddities? Gotta love them the unsung heros of real work…

building a model one:
There is a Norfolk Southern slug at the Rockport Yard in Cleveland. Rockport is at West 150th and Brookpark Rd. I travel 480 often and it’s always there, usually hooked up to a GP38 working the yard.
