What is the history of NS 3424. What type, former road number, etc. Thanks for any help.

This is what I’ve found on the internet about this engine…
It’s former CR # 6520 now current NS #3424 SD40-2
Date renumbered - September 11, 1999

so if you have any questions, check that site out.
Considering it is a former CR unit, I’m sure if you look at other CR related websites, you could find more info on it.
