I am looking for all the info I can get for the N&W Line from Top to Bottom. I am looking for routes, Consists, schedules, maps, Rail ownership, rail lease info, anything I can Get. I especially would like Photos of Northern Ohio, Penn., NY, And WV. info. and will be Greatfull for all I can Get. Would like also to get as much info on the transtition from N&W to Norfolk Western, and from Steam to Diesel. All Help would be Appreciated. Thanks [:)]
i dont know if it is what you are looking for but if you go on the wabash historical societys website (you can find them on yahoo) they have a system map of the wabash who as you know was bought by the n&w in 1964
What years are you interested in ? The NMRA website has a huge list of links to historic railroads. Back in the 1960’s the N&W also took over Ohio RR’s like the Akron,Canton & Youngstown and the P&W.V.
The USGS has a treasure trove of historical maps that may help.
