North Carolina Amtrak station advances in planning
This little out of the way Amtrak station gets coverage in TRAINS while the multi-million dollar stations for the new All Aboard Florida private rail venture receives not a whisper. Newspaper coverage is abundant but TRAINS completely ignores the awe inspiring architecture that is being revealed in FECI’s plans.
Makes you wonder if TRAINS has a vendetta against this competitor to Amtrak!

What’s wrong with the present Raleigh station?
What’s the current prognosis for replacing the station in Charlotte, presumably at the site of the old Southern station downtown on West Trade Street? How far along is it?
