North Cascades Railroad Quiz?

I just completed the district writing assesment at my school and was thinking about how many tests kids have to take and adults hardly have to take any. So I decide to make a quiz. The topic is regional, but I think that a fair number of people are interested in the railroads that ran over the North Cascades.

1)Match the following three railroads with the mountain passes that they ran over.
passes-Stevens,Snoqualmie,Stampede
railroads-Great Northern, Milwaukee Road, Northern Pacific

2)Match these towns to the railroads that served them.
towns-Wellington, Merritt, Hyak, Rockdale, Martin, Easton
railraods-Great Northern, Milwaukee, Northern Pacific

3)Who was the first engineer to bring a train thru the original Cascade tunnel and into Seattle?

I will post the answers on Sunday.

Good luck!
(sorry about my poor typing skills, I tend to misspell words lot when I type)

2-Welligton is GN, Merritt is GN, Hyak is CMSP&P, Easton is NP and CMSP&P
The line opened Jan. 6, 1893, and the first tunnel opened Dec, 20, 1900.

Here are the answers.

1)The Great Northern railroad ran over Stevens Pass, the Milwaukee Road ran over Snoqualmie pass and the Northern Pacific ran over Stampede pass.

2)Wellington and Merrit are on the GN route, Hyak and Rockdale are on the Milwaukee Road route and Martin and Easton are on the NP.

3)[oops] Well I messed up on this question ,but nanaimo73 you were right on the opening date for both the line and the tunnel.

Sorry I messed up question three.
