Northeast Corridor sees limited service following Amtrak derailment

It appears the Vermonter did run northbound today.

The Vermonter stayed as a train starting the day after the derailment, NYP to St. Albans–I appreciate Amtrak’s efforts to keep this as a train. They even came up with the usual consist. I rode the southbound Vermonter yesterday as far as NYP. Train was unusually quiet the whole way. (I had to get a rental car to go the rest of the way to D.C.).
