In NE Ohio, what are you guy’s favroite spots?

I would like to get to Berea some day. It has to be the best spot in the entire State.

The November 2007 issue of Railfan has an interesting article covering Conneaut. It also looks like a great place to see.

I like to go to Perry, Oh. Both NS and CSX go through town and are less then 200 ft. from each other. Perry is also the the point where NS’s Fairport branch branchs off. CSX has a Detector at Madison and I think there is one on NS somewhere close.

Berea CSX 2 tracks. NS 3tracks. about 200 fett appart. Couple of times a week Weeling and Lake Erie Crosses from CSX to NS. Fairly constant usually no more than 20 min. between trains .

Sorry to go a lttle off topic here, but what connecting track does the W&LE use? I’ve always wondered since the conrail split who and what uses either connection? It makes sense that the W&LE would use the EB CSX to NS. Is that what you mean?
