Northstar commuters offered money back guarantee
This could get very expensive for Northstar if the delays return. I think it is a little irresponsible for Northstar to offer refunds for something they have no control over.
The irresponsible entity in this story is BNSF.
I think the MBTA has or had a similar program, but that agency controls all track except the run to Prov (which Amtrak runs). I don’t know if it continued with the new operator Keolis.
Going to be a lot of refunds!!! Just ask Amtrak riders.
