NOT A HUGE COMPLAINT BUT A QUESTION!!

So, enough about complaints. Or complaints about complaints about complaints. I have a question. Can you use Pollyscale paints (diluted, of course) without an airbrush? Am I just stupid? Also, So Santa Fe passenger cars need that clear closs finish?

You can use any paints without an airbrush, but your finish will never be as uniform. There are some people on these forums that can point you in the right direction for use of a brush for painting, but for me I would never consider a coverage with just a brush.

The reason for a gloss finish (clear or otherwise) is so decals will apply more transparently. So If you aren’t applying any decals there is no need for the gloss. Generally after the decals are applied one would put a coat of “dull” or “matte” on it anyway to get rid of the gloss.

I find they cover better if you DON’T thin them if your brush painting.[2c] I hate having to go over window frames or details a second time because the paint was too thin.
