NOT Fastracks but it gets the job done

Needed to build/rebuild some of my older hand laid turnouts so I decided to mill out a jig. I don’t have a CNC so the best I can do is mill out the PC tie slots.

I used a Micro Engineering turnout as a template.

Someone putting his router to good use! Great job and you saved yourself a couple hundred bucks to boot.

You must be powering your frogs. If not why not make them as short as possible? I make mine about three tie spaces apart. Never had a problem and they are dead frogs. Even my little 0-4-0T goes over with no hitches.

Yes I power route all the frogs. I use manual turnout controls with slide switches.
