thanks to some help from our resident chicken we have learned of a petition filed by the maumee& western against csx.they would like the diamond put back at the crossing on defiances southwest side of town.of course csx has time to answer the petition with the surface & transportation board.however if the M&W has got the federal funding to fix the shortline they can hook back up with NS and not be landlocked by csx.also their trains would have priority over csx because they operate on former waba***rack and they were in Defiance first not the B&O.should be interesting[}:)]
