Notice to 10 x 12 Layout Contest Entrants

I have the contest link ready, but I want to be 100% sure I got everything correct.

This contest had an added level of complexity in that there were multiple scales. On top of that people submitted entries via email, PM’s, web-links, and Train.com email. Some of the layouts did not specify a scale. The layouts were submitted as .pdf’s, .png’s, jpg’s, .bmp’s and text was as varied as well often separate email from the picture submission. Anyway, it took longer to sort that stuff out and create a level of conformity than it did to program the voting page.

But I’m not sure I got everything right, so if you would, take a second and look over your submission and make sure everything is okay. I will start the voting tomorrow in the morning.

10x12 Contest Voting Page

Respond here whether your submission is okay or not.

(Vic, I think you have a lock on G Scale.)

Good looking layouts. At least you worked the bugs out of your crashed system. I am sure you will get alot of responses.

SM:

Could you switch the order of my pictures so the upper level is on top, and make the upper level the thumbnail on the voting page? Presentation is everything, and the lower level juuuust isn’t so photogenic…

Looks like some very creative entries this round.

BTW: Mine looks good enough.

You know Chip, if you ever need help, I dont mind helping out.

Good presentation of my proposal.

Smile,
Stein

Good job in getting this all sorted out! My entry look great, so I vote for let 'er rip.

Charles

Uhh, Chip, that O scale layout, isn’t O, its G. In the picture it says 1/22.5, which isn’t O.

Looks good on my end.

LET THE CONTEST BEGIN!!!

Chris

AB,

THe order is changed.

Jake,

It’s now G Scale.

Ummmmm…where do we submit our votes?

When I make sure everyone is accounted for, I’ll post it in the General Forum.

Looks fine Chip !

16 layouts, 3 scales, pretty good turnout! Thanks for all your efforts, Chip!

Mine Looks Fine! Ready to Go!

I suspect that SpaceMouse’s determination to have the layouts be anonymous(e) [;)] is doomed to failure. Most of the layouts are in easily recognizable design and drawing styles, and the few that aren’t are revealed when the designers post their name here.

But whatever - it is not really important whether we can tell who designed what. Quite a few interesting layouts there. Good work on the web pages, Chip!

Stein

I can guess which ones are Chad’s and Tom’s. But can you guess which one is mine?

There are some really nice set ups in this round. I can honestly say mine isn’t near the top…Darn it. Some of these offer great scenic oportunities. There goes my claim to fame.

We might be able to recognize the styles, but will the “General” public?

If they read this forum they’ll know which one is mine, you already outed me[;)][:O][:-^]

I’m gonna tell on you if you don’t give me your lunch money![:-^]

Mine’s there, looks good. I think all of the entries are quite interesting and original.

As young Mr Grace says, “You’ve all done very well!”

Cheers,

Mark.
