I have the contest link ready, but I want to be 100% sure I got everything correct.
This contest had an added level of complexity in that there were multiple scales. On top of that people submitted entries via email, PM’s, web-links, and Train.com email. Some of the layouts did not specify a scale. The layouts were submitted as .pdf’s, .png’s, jpg’s, .bmp’s and text was as varied as well often separate email from the picture submission. Anyway, it took longer to sort that stuff out and create a level of conformity than it did to program the voting page.
But I’m not sure I got everything right, so if you would, take a second and look over your submission and make sure everything is okay. I will start the voting tomorrow in the morning.
Could you switch the order of my pictures so the upper level is on top, and make the upper level the thumbnail on the voting page? Presentation is everything, and the lower level juuuust isn’t so photogenic…
I suspect that SpaceMouse’s determination to have the layouts be anonymous(e) [;)] is doomed to failure. Most of the layouts are in easily recognizable design and drawing styles, and the few that aren’t are revealed when the designers post their name here.
But whatever - it is not really important whether we can tell who designed what. Quite a few interesting layouts there. Good work on the web pages, Chip!
I can guess which ones are Chad’s and Tom’s. But can you guess which one is mine?
There are some really nice set ups in this round. I can honestly say mine isn’t near the top…Darn it. Some of these offer great scenic oportunities. There goes my claim to fame.
