Remember this video that caused a stir here two month’s back, showing an NS train cutting through a semi stuck on a grade crossing? The city finally decided to close the grade crossing. BTW, if I were a HS driving instructor I would make all of my students watch this video to understand stopping distances for trains.
With the crossing being closed, I suspect there will be 2 or 3 more incidents in the future for those that refuse to believe the signs and just know a crossing was there their last trip to town.
Not to mention the drivers who are blindly following the instructions on their GPS…
