November Trains issue on page 19, the photo in top right of a switch. I’m puzzled by this switch as one rail of the track in the straight direction has no split in it for the flanges of a train coming onto the main. Did the flanges ride up over the rail? I think that would have made one heck of a lot of noise if they did use that switch. I doubt even Foamers like us would like to leave near that switch. With that switch, can a train coming off the straight track exit on that switch or is it just a one way?
