NP SD45 appears on a photo freight in Minnesota
I hope they get the parts they need to get it running. There are very few diesels that have the sheer presence of an SD-45 with its size and its V-20 prime mover. I have always thought they were awe inspiring.
Great job by the Lake Superior Railroad Museum. Also, thanks to the Northern Plains Railroad and CP for their part.
I assume that they’ve gotten the necessary parts to get it running, as these photos clearly show it operating .
It doesn’t operate, they used another locomotive on the rear as a pusher, the photo showing it solo is a photo-shopped image.
