I have seen this a couple times then I saw this yesterday on 191NS 6650 was pached like a CR. is the paint falling off 6650 are why was it pached its a ex GFS or something like that.

Hmm, never seen that before.
That’s different. Maybe it’s an experiment with the decaling of the engine number. IIRC, GFS was a component of SOU before the merger, like CNO&TP and certain locomotives still use those reporting marks. Funny, I haven’t seen any NKP, WAB N&W, LE&W reporting marks on NS locos.
