NS adds Monongahela Railway to heritage fleet

NS is adding the Monongahela Railway to it’s heritage fleet. The Monongahela heritage unit will be an ES44AC, which I presume will be painted at either Chattanooga or Juniata. The Monongahela was a shortline in PA and WV that was merged into Conrail in 1993.

Putting Oakland City, Indiana back on every railfan’s Hot Spot list.

Thank You.

While MRy was justifiably renowned for its secondhand Sharks, it should also be noted that it was one of a handful of roads that purchased Super-7 locomotives (NdeM and Roberval & Saguenay are the other ones that come to mind.
