NS Buffalo Line, Dauphin, PA, and the other Statue of Liberty

On Saturday, I drove up to Marysville, PA,
and parked just above CP Banks on the
NS Pittsburgh Line.

From that location, I could see east across
the Susquehanna River to the NS Buffalo Line.
About an hour and a half later, southbound
11R showed up with two-ex CR locomotives.

The “Statue of Liberty” is resting upon a pier
of the old Northern Central rail bridge, by the way.

Here is another view of the wide Susquehanna,
looking west, just a couple of miles downstream,
and the PRR 1902 Rockville Bridge:

very nice pictures! I drive by that area often and know it well. Where are you from?

Thanks, Dave.

I live here in Central PA.

This needs to bump up just so more people can see it. Great shots!
