Hey all, I found this video of NS 8098 in the Netflix Show ‘Stranger Things’ on Season 1 Episode 1: “The Weirdo on Maple Street”

Accidental or Coincidental?
The Trailing unit is an NS C40-9, and the time frame of ‘Stranger Things’ is when Conrail was big, and it was before the CSX-NS Conrail split
It also appears to have a Leslie RS3 or RS5 horn, like the classic Conrail units had, too!

Probably accidental. While GEVOs and Dash 9s are too modern for 1983 when season one takes place, Conrail and Norfolk Southern trains passing through Indiana would be pretty normal. My girlfriend and I are fans of the show and it’s funny I never noticed it at the time.
I only ever saw photos/clips of the show - but the police blazer has a MX7000 model lightbar that wasn’t introduced until the 90s.
@DirtyD696, and @zugmann those are both true I’m still looking for any other references with NS I know there’s a video from the same day that part was shot the C40-9 and the ES44AC was caught leading a manifest train I think
