NS Intermodole getting longer on Piedmont Divison

I’ve noticed this for a few months that NS is running longer Intermodole trains on the Piedmont Divison.

I took this video last saturday of 214 going by on a 25mph slow order were I was standing. It was foggy that day but it looks about two-two and half mile long.

Just like to know what you thank.

About 120 cars at 60 feet or less is 7200 feet or under a mile and a half.

It is a nice video. I’m the last person on Earth to correct spelling, but. It’s “Intermodal”. Not “Intermodole”.

Yeah, some of these guy’s spelling kills me. Spell check anyone? Anyway, I run on the Piedmont for NS. Nothing new, they are hit and miss. Somedays 212 will be 3000 ft long, the next it might be 10,500 ft long. Usually longer trains going north for some reason.
