NWSL wheel set help needed

hey fellas,

I want to replace the wheels that came with my brand new Athearn BNSF Swoosh AC4400CW with NWSL wheel sets, so I Whent to there web site, but i cant figure out the ones that I need, they make it so complicated. so if anyone could help me out that would be great.

again what I am goign to be replaceing the wheelsets is:

Athearns newest RTR AC4400CW BNSF Swoosh ( HO )

any help would be great!

teh best way that I can be helped is someone could tell me the NWSL part # that i need to replace these wheels.

I believe the AC4400 have either 40 or 42 inch wheels on them. Try a search on the specifics of these units to be sure of them.

Call NWSL with your credit card in your hand and they can usually fix you right up.

I usually use the 37242-4 which are 42" with semi-finescale tread, but there is also the 37142-4 which is the same thing but with wider tread. If you have one of the newer RTR engines, you might want to check the wheels first. The main reason to replace the old Blue Box wheels was that they were sintered iron (dull gray color) and did not conduct electricity as well as nickel-silver plated wheels. Some of the new RTR stuff comes with blackened nickel-silver wheels, so I don’t think there would be as much benefit to replacing the wheels.
