where can I find some photos or infos about the big storage building (it was grey with a big NYC sign) ? It was located on the harbour of New York ,NY.

Are you sure it was New York City? Buffalo NY had a large grain silo with New York Central painted on the sides. I will look in photo archives to find a New York City building.
You probably are referring to the Weehawken NJ terminal of the West Shore line.
