O-27 Track

I was wondering, since you guys have these immense layouts, does anyone have any O-27 track to spare? I’d be willing to pay a fair price, whatever you can offer is appreciated…im doing a floor layout. Its currently 9x18foot and i have a 80x120foot area that i can use, also, any lockons would help too. Thanks.

You shouldn’t have any problem locating O27 track since there’s still a lot of it around, but contact me via e-mail if you are having difficulty. I’m using Lionel FasTrack and Atlas O track these days, and have a bunch of O27 (lightly used, including several switches) that I wouldn’t mind getting rid of.

I have a ton of track and about 4 zillion switches. Call me 304-843-1740 or 304-281-5776. Thanks, Jake

i have a box of it. email me. you pay for the shipping and a very low price. all of it is used, in fairly good condition. if youre interested email me

Just a suggestion, but rather than lock-ons, I would solder directly to the track.

How fair is a “fair price” because theres a hobby shop here in Chicago that sells 0-27 brand new for 80 cents a piece… Because i am using 0-27 and am looking for track, so anything less than that much for used might work well for me too…

If you are going to build a 80x120 size layout DO NOT use lockons!!! Get some #14(at least):I’d use 12 0r 10 for “buss” wires with #18 0r 16 feeder wires you solder or stick thru the bottom of the rails with a screwdriver so you don’t have any voltage drop over that distance. And I’d put in at least one 072 or bigger loop because you have the space. Good luck.

Well, depending how much track i can get, will correspond to the size i can make it., and fred, im going to call thursday.

Postage would kill you.

Just buy it retail.

Try a hobby shop, they have wire and clip on and trains and everything, no really they do. I went there myself.[:p]
