I am looking for a supplier for O-Scale decals, besides Microscale ( Which I am well familiar with). I am particularly interested in New Haven decals, as well as some other roads.
Any information/source of supply would be appreciated.
You may have better luck if you go to the top of this page, click on Trains.com and go to the Classic Toy Trains forums. They do more in O and S scale. Folks here are mostly in HO and N.
Not decals, but dry transfers may be available from C-D-S. They’re no longer making lettering, but still have much in-stock and available. If you want contact info, send me a PM (“conversation” [:P]).
My catalogue shows lettering for single and doublesheathed boxcars, two types of 40’ steel boxcars, three different hoppers and wood or steel cabooses. There’s nothing for locos or passenger cars, and the eras range from the '30s to the '60s. Nothing in the McGinnis scheme, though.
What is your era? And would you be willing to try dry transfers? Clover House advertises some NH dry transfers (box cars and passenger cars) in O scale. See around page 33 of their catalog: http://www.cloverhouse.com/downloads/catalog12_20100811.pdf
Champ Decal Company had in their catalog O scale decals listed for boxcars and cabooses. Unfortunately, they stopped taking orders on last month. Some of the hobby shops that cater to the large scale modelers might still have some.
