I am getting ready to do my first train layout ever. My son wants to do a military layout but i am having trouble finding o scale military vehicles. I’m looking for 50’s era tanks, trucks, jeeps, air planes, etc. Does anyone know of a good place on the internet to get diecast models for not a lot of money?
Probably more than you want to spend.

That is perfect actually. Thank you very much.
While not exactly scale, Justrains has a K-line set with vehicles for about $100.

I purchased several older military trucks, some with soldiers that are 1/48th scale at WalMart. They also had the German ones too. Not much variety, but certainly some that will add to your layout.

i have heard that target and wal mart can be a gold mine if you go at the right times.
My son and I put a little set together a few weeks ago. Figures are your classic plastic army men. Printed out some Army logos on the computer and rubber cemented them to an old engine. We had alot of fun. But all floor layouts must come to an end. Might set it up again after the holidays.
OK - cant post pictures anymore. This forum doesnt work too well.
Posting pictures, what a nightmare. Is this all about IE7 again? Liked the copy and paste that we had goin for awhile. Oh well back to the other forum.
Just got the duck amphiban at walmart today. They had a jeep, 3/4ton weapons carrier,& some german trucks.

Check Target Stores fpr FORCES OF VALOR figures and vehicles.
If you want top shelf, go to www.hobbybunker.com. Anything in the 54mm range will do just fine.
