I regret to bring the news that Rev. Gerald McGee has passed Saturday morning Dec.15. Jerry was best known for his series of articles on the Puyi & Phuyi Railroad, many of them published in MR, set is eastern Iowa in 1906, based on the Milwaukee lines in that area. He was an excellent modeler and a very nice gentleman. I was fortunate to have operated on two versions of his layout. His modeling provided the inspiration that convinced me to go to an early rail era.
A United Methodist pastor, he retired to Newton, IA in 2002.
