YES, got mine when I went to box. BTW: threw that wrapper in the trash. Not ordering anything since I did not win drawing. I guess as have not seen or heard from it. [banghead]
Neither have I!
What a cool layout by Fred Dole (late of OGR?) - recreating Frank Ellison’s famous Delta Lines - outstanding photos.
It’s out? oh good, maybe I will get mine before Labor day weekend.
Ditto. It’s amazing that Fred was able to get his hands on some of Mr. Ellison’s original structures!
Nice to see Norm Charbonneau’s layout finally made it into the mag, as well (page 18). Can’t wait to see the full spread in the next issue! That guy’s work is absolutely amazing.
On the down side: no tinplate in this issue. [|(]
Got mine today.
OH BOY!!! Still might be a winner. [:O]
For reasons unknown mine always comes about 3 weeks late[banghead] So im not expecting it yet.
[swg] Hmm… you wouldn’t by any chance be putting in a “plug” for something, would you Chuck? (LOL!) [(-D]
CTT has published my idea for a simple sound effects module on page 34 under "Tips-Tools-Techniques.
The origional link to my “$2 Sound Effects Module” appears in this CTT forum thread:

The Deadwood stage made it in today! Since the bikers left Sturgis it is mighty quiet here and I can read my copy of the October issue. As soon as I am home, that is!
Clutching my copy as I prepare for the the long walk up the hill.
Hard to believe but mine actually arrived today…But since it usually arrives much later than most, I think I will ignore it for a week. naw. I did notice picture on page 46 has the wrong engine number in the print. tisk, tisk for shame such an easy engine to id.
I got mine today and immediately found the foldaway layout article on page 56. It’s a great solution for a Condo, which I happen to live in.
I also noticed that there seems to be an error in the plans. It show a depth of 3 feet, yet the picture of the bookshelfs show copies of Classic Toy Trains standing upright in them with only about the same space in front. The table top shows a 7’6" width. If the layout plan is anywhere near scale then the width should be 18 inches instead.

As soon as it stops raining, I may be able to get to the post office…[sigh]
I thought a fireman could swim. [:-^]
Will all that gear and those boots…I just sink…[oX)]besides the cops are all out trying to direct traffic…[banghead]
When are you going to come to your senses and move back North so you can shovel snow to get to the mail box where your CTT Magazine awaits you? I haven’t seen a crocodile in more than ten years when I head to the mailbox in January.
I thought it was the Coast Guard’s job to direct boat traffic. [:-^]
On second thought, this rain in Florida might be the best thing for us Buckeyeland. [:-,] This means that all those Florida Football Teams are not able to practise and we might just get an advantage somewhere down the line. How does that song go:
Rain drops keep falling on may head,…
