OCTOBER COFFEE POT Hot coffee with grits for the good Southerners and oatmeal for the Yanks.

SURPRISE!!!

Well, another month has gone. Please read my post on the old Pot about lighting and smoking dummy units.

Hope all have a safe and happy month ahead.

God bless all and may the force be with you.

Morning all. You can keep the Grits and the Oatmeal Chief.

Have home nurse coming by around 8:30 to change out vacume bandage. Be glad when that is over with. As that gets very painfull while they are doing it. Hopefully not to bad today. Thats about all she has to deal with today. then 10 I go on my I.V. for two hours ( strong antibiatic ) Then the day is mine lol. The I.V. is every 12 hours for 6 weeks I have like 3 1/2 weeks more to go.

Got a train set in the other day. ( been roughed up ) but the engine does work  a 2359 B&M but after contacting Roger Carp found out it’s actually super O set 13028. Only problem other than the 3349 turbo Missile car I will have to replace the rest of the cars to complete the set, including the marine Submarine car # 3820 which is an expensive car.

Not much else going on here. Talk to you all later

Guten tag,

Been busy the past two days. The nice weather ended for now. It started raining last night and has continued so far this morning. I know the rain is good but it does alter our plans for today. Our village is having a carnival and I planned to go for a bike ride with the older son but those outings will be postponed.

The wife and I celebrate 22 years of marriage today. We wanted to go our for dinner but the restaurant we wanted to try is completely booked. Oh well, today is the perfect day to relax inside and make a stew.

Have a great day,

Joe

Congratulations Joe and Mrs. Joe. Hope your able to enjoy it.

Wow, October, aka the fastest month I will have ever known…

Banks - Yes. And YES.

Demay - Happy Anniversary.

Chief - Please send Matthew easterly…[Z][um]

Congradulations Joe, Happy Anniversary.

S.J.

Happy Anniversary, Joe! Wife and I will have number 35 later this month.

Oops, make that 30 years. [:$]

Third try. Screwed up software. Unbelievable. [why I hardly ever post here]

Fifey, hot air from Roseyville Mayor’s office will force is out to sea.

Sunny and cooler. Mayor’s duties at 1 and haircut later.

Have a good one.

Good evening all,

A potential winnable game turned into a 6-0 disaster for “my” soccer girls. Granddaughter’s team won, but grandson’s lost. Did 6.6 miles in 1:40.19 for a 3.9 MPH pace. Was a little tired after this jaunt. I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Evening folks.

Beat. We did the State Fair today. Traditional first day of the fair, but it actually opened yesterday. They used to call Friday a pre-opening.

Highlights were the Marine Drum and Bugle Corps performance and a cowboy that led/drove a 6 horse team standing with one foot on each of the rear two horses. The horses were not tied together and all he had were the reins for each horse. They ran all around the arena including figure 8’s. Capped it off by driving the team over a jump gate. Impressive.

Joe, happy anniversary !

Guten morgen,

Thanks for the anniversary wishes. Since the original restaurant we wanted to go to was booked, I did some research and found a different one. It turned out to be fantastic and we had a great night. The beautiful weather has returned and it will be a sunny day with a high of 66. We will go to church soon and then it might be a good day for a bike ride with the older son.

Good day,
Joe

Morning all. Beautiful day. Resting. Have a great week ahead.

Morning all!

Sunny and 85 today. Mid-80’s for next week. Maybe rain on Wed.

Texas A&M held on for 5-0.

NASCAR and Cowboys today.

First ray of sun since Tuesday PM. Rain rain rain.

Yesterday was a football day. 2 wins and 1 OT field goal loss for the teams I watch.

Good evening all,

Watched the two grandkids’ teams play. Grandson won, granddaughter lost. Stayed way too late up there with no time to wind down. Should be quiet day at work as pain one will be gone. Not much else going on. I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Mike C. from indiana

Wake Up sleepy heads!!! Sunny and cooler. About time. Chores and then County Commissioners followed by Town Board.

Have a good one.

Aloha. Wow, October already. Looks like a nice day after a rainy. misty weekend. I remember those posts, Chief, I saved them somewhere. Can’t believe the Bears won, Laz, and beat SJ’s Lions. Happy anniversary Joe and Mrs. Joe! Roy, the Texas State Fair must really be something.

Mornin’ boys. Sunny in the Mid-Atlantic region. Had to clean up tree debris from rainstorms this AM. Pod is only 25% fill. Lots o’ teeth nashin’ over what gets pitched and what is “permitted” into new Fifedom. Already have pile for dumpster, which comes this afternoon.

Highlight of my weekend was having my kids sit down for dinner at the table yesterday evening.

On the Lions plus side…I always get a nice Sunday nap somewhere in the middle of it.

Guten Abend,

A busy Monday here and the rain was back. Tomorrow, the wife heads back to the States for a week so I will be juggling the schedules of three busy kids. Fortunately, I have the ability to take time off from work which will provide me the flexibility I will need. I’m off to run the Princess to dance class now.

Fife - I’m glad you had a nice family dinner; it becomes more difficult as they age.

Joe
