Today at school I saw 4 trains in one class period(1 1/2 hours). 3 where of the same kind and one was a stack kind. Also anyone know what railroad uses CN as a mark on there trains?
(like BNSF to Burlington Northeren Santa Fe)
If the Canadian National logo was on the locomotives, it means that they were in what is called ‘pool service’ in which the locos of one railroad will run on another to alleviate either a power shortage, or to pull a train from one point all the way to the other.
Just curious–what trains do you normally see run by your school in central Texas? Do they say BNSF or Union Pacific?

Give him a break, it’s hard not to watch a train if your school is near a railroad track. I know, I used to teach school near a railroad track. Hopefully I made my classes interesting enough that we could ALL take five minutes or so to watch a train.
I remeber back in kindergarden, we were only a couple of blocks away from the SP main in San Antonio. We’d here the horns, sometimes see smoke. But never saw the trains.
BTW, I’ve seen CN trains down here, I saw a few in georgia before.
i have BNSF in mY town and there was one BNSF engine with it. also thats one of the things my teacher pointed out about the classroom the first day was the trains so.
