The other day I was going across town to shovel some snow and as i went over the brige that crosses the tracks I noticed 2 UP SD70s and another loco that was a road that i have never seen before. I could’t ID the loco but it may have been a GP 30 or 40. It was grey, a little lighter than the grey on the UP locos. It had a Red secton down the side with yellow lettering. I couldnt rad the road name but I believe it was Utah somthing. Does anyone know who owns this loco and what the full road name is?
I am not a Westerner, but doesn’t the Utah Railway have locomotives like that?

Thanks guys, Still kicking myself for not chasing it and taking pictures!
How many locos is UP leasing from them, and what are their numbers?
Thanks a bunch!
If you want to see more Utah RR paint, wander down to SLC - Utah has trackage rights from Helper to Ogden and they use them.

During the summer of 2004, I saw the came thing, about. It was an SD60, and had a black body with a red and whait outline with yellow letters that said LETX. I didn’t have a camera. I saw it east of Wheaton Illinois Main Street.
Is this what you saw?- http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=57009
You mean LTEX which is Larry’s Truck Electric Service. I don’t think they’ve rebuilt any SD60’s. What you saw was probably an exSP SD40T-2.
