(off topic)- does anyone know how to animate train gifs???

I have noticed that some people have train gif animations on their signature, and I was wondering how you do that…

I havn’t tried it on this board but on another site it’s [ move]****.gif[ /move] without the spaces.

Well, do you guys know how to put them on a train gif track and couple them up?

Yea, go to a site that has train gifs like:

http://cencalrails.railfan.net/rrgifs.html

or

http://www.frograil.com/gifs/fallenFlagsMtoZ/sp.htm

Then pick what you want by right clicking on the image, then select PROPERTIES and cut and paste the URL to your sig. Then add [ img] before and [ /img] after the URL in your sig.

Repeat the process for each additional loco or car.

You REALLY REALLY SHOULD download them and put them on your own server.

It is considered REALLY rude to link to somone elses server the way you just did , some folks consider it stealing

OK I’ll fess up. I actually did ask for (and received) permission to use the gifs in my sig. But I was haveing more fun pretending to be a criminal.[}:)]
