I know there are several amateur radio operators who are also model railroaders. I wonder if we could make a radio DCC throttle using one of the ham bands? This would allow duplex operation as well as increased range.
I used to be heavily into CB and HAM operations back in the 70’s and 80’s. Eventually I got tired of it and sold all my equipment. Sometimes I wish I hadn’t. There are times that I would like to be on an all-night talk with some friends in Australia.
