I delete my Internet Explorer Icon on my Desktop by mistake, How do I restore my Icon to my Desktop?
Start/Programs/Internet Explorer/Right Click/Create Shortcut.
Minimize window and drag to desktop.

Have you checked out Mozilla Firefox? I completely got rid of IE in favor of Firefox, as it is more secure, and most of my adware, spyware, virus problems went out the window.
