Off Topic: Surf's Up (Pics Dial Up Warning)

Granted these aren’t in any way shape or phone (edit: FORM, Andre, you moron!) related to model railroading, but they’re really nice shots of the storm surf shot near Lighthouse Point in Pacific Grove, California and I thought my wife did such a good job of it, I wanted to share them.

Andre

M’sieu Chapelon,

Might I respectfully suggest Googling “Photo Competitions” or similar? Looks like a couple of potential prize winners there!

Chuck (modeling Central Japan in September, 1964 - inland, high above sea level)

Thanks, Chuck. I’ll extend your compliments to my wife as she was the photographer.

Andre

Andre, I’m up in your other stompin’ grounds, Maine. Specifically, we’re at Sunday River, and the temperature is in the 50’s. (This is January 6th.) Nice shots of the surf. But sorry, they don’t compare to that pic of Lyra.

Beautiful shots, Andre! [tup] You should upload them to Webshots – they’d probably get a good response. That’s some impressive wave action.

(But yes, the granddaughter steals the show!)

Thanks, gents. She is cute, isn’t she?

You ought to hear her laugh. It doesn’t matter if you’re in the foulest mood of your life. If she starts laughing, you’ll start laughing, too.

Andre

Andre, these are GREAT shots of the wild Pacific. By the way, as you also come from Maine I believe?..there is not ONE lake or pond in the state of Maine safe to be on, as of today. When have you EVER heard of that in January???

Off topic but very good pictures. Thank you Kevin
