Asked this on the toy train “coffee pot” forum but got only “blank stares”. Does anyone have any details on the NS office car special to Augusta? I need to figure a window of opportunity to photograph this train as it appproaches Lexington, South Carolina near MP116 on the R line. My luck they’ll come from the opposite direction.
I don’t think NS has put the schedule together, yet. It should be similar to previous years, though.
Dunno about NS to Augusta, or other railroad specials to the Kentucky Derby. You might check www.aaprco.com to see in any Private Varnish (PV) cars are headed that way. Lots of info for non-members on the site.
