You’ve got it! Happy Canada Day! When I had my boat we used to sail over to my hometown, Victoria, for the celebration, then on the 2nd or 3rd we would sail over to Roche Harbour for the 4th! Ah, the good old days! jc5729 John Colley, Port Townsend, WA

The 1 July annual holiday on which Canada’s birth as a nation is celebrated was originally known as “Dominion Day”. The Canadian Parliament changed it to “Canada Day” on October 27, 1982.
Happy Canada Day to Canadians and would -be- Canadians around the world!!
[:)]
It’s O Canada, not OH Canada, but of course we all new that didn’t we??? July first eh? well that means only a month or so of tough sledding before winter’s here.
Happy Canada Day to our neighbors north of the border.

Happy Birthday, Canada. Yer not getting older, yer getting…umm,…more interesting?
Greetings to fellow Canucks, wherever they may be.
To our friends, everywhere, thanks for your good wishes. On with summer!
How old is Canada? Wasn’t it settled before the U.S.?
A bottle of Molson and a burger at the Lake Louise CPR station sounds good right about now. Happy Canada Day, eh?
Best wishes to all Canadians! eh. Beautiful country, and wonderful people.
P. S. keep sending Tim Hortons coffee and donuts here.
You can celebrate Canada Day – I’m still celebrating DOMINION Day!!! [:)]

How old is Canada? Wasn’t it settled before the U.S.?
Yup. Had to pass through what is now Canada to get to the Lower 48.
Of course, those are the settlers who crossed over from Siberia about 20 millennia before Lief Ericsson landed in Newfoundland…
History is longer than you think!
Congratulations, Canadians.
