200+ trees and several bushes later, I finally ran out of the original natural fiber furance filter. [8D] I came to the end of that 20" x 30" blue mat today. One filter yeilds SO much usable material!
If I really needed more, I can just pick it up at Walmart for $3.77. No big woop. But I don’t think thats going to happen.
200, eh? Not bad. I have about ten of your trees on my layout, and they are easily the best of the bunch. Since my layout will never be finished, I will use some of the time to replace the lesser trees with AGGROpines.
Bwaa-HAAAH! Ran out, did you? I couldn’t find my blue mat for a week, when I decided to ‘grow’ some more firs. Found it under the layout. The cat dragged it under there and has been using it for a bed. Know what you mean about the number of trees you can get out of those puppies—I’ve done about forty so far, and am missing just a little corner out of the mat. Soon as I vacuum all the hairs out, I’ll start back on the Tahoe National Forest, but in the meantime, I’ve got one p***ed Tabbycat. I told her to go buy her own.

It blows my mind if you are 20 as well. Your layout looks really good. Please share your secrets with us all. Maybe a mini clinic where you talk about scenery? Just a suggestion.
That made me laugh. I actually heard SpongeBob laughing like that in my head when I read it. heh heh
Anyway, I was looking at the photo in your sig. and wondered (I apologize if this has been covered already) is that a really old loco on your layout? Or, do you excel at weathering as much as you do at scenery? I’ve seen that photo many times, but had never clicked on it. WOW! It looks like it’s at least a hundred years old. Nicely done!
