OH Yes I did & Guess What!

I went to my LHS with Dad today and picked up and am presently braking in my new Heritage Series Kanawha 2-8-4. Apart from the couplers being useless plastic and already destined to the scrap heap because they’re U/S I have to say this has to be my quietest, slowest crawling (at the dead slow position) and one of my nicest engines to date.[:D]

I also had a chance to look at the BLI 2-8-2 running on DC. Very nice and the sound is excellent. “Mike” at the LHS also told me that BLI is releasing a 4-6-4 Toronto, Hamilton and Buffalo in several road numbers with one being only available in Canada, Something about Rivet Counters won’t be able to find fault with the Canadian version.

Anyway my day is made[^]

Dad was so impressed with the BLI 2-8-2, He’s talking about aquiring the BLI C&O T-1 2-10-4 due to come out later this year. Good thing I got the track[swg]

Congratulations Fergie! Enjoy, enjoy!! BTW that’s why they call 'em R-T-R, Ready-To-Rebuild. [:D]

Congratulations Fergie,
the MESS is getting serious business with that growing roster,
[8D] and will the BLI C&O T-1 2-10-4 also be on lease to the MESS ?
Cool to enjoy such a hobby with your Dad![:)]

Yup. Those P2K berks are very impressive. Just as smooth and quiet as the Y3. I don’t roster one because…

  1. Lack of money
  2. Roads are too far east

Congratulations!

DO YOU KNOW WHAT WOULD MAKE MY DAY? A PROTO 2000 HERITAGE 0-6-0 IN CB&Q MARKINGS!

sometime this year I’m goin’ to buy one, I don’t care how tight my budget gets or what else I won’t be able to buy, I have to have that engine.[:D][:p]

If you are reading this and work for Life-Like, please make a CB&Q class 0-5A 4-8-4 Northern in your Heritage line, HO scale with all the details!
