It is also used on airplanes but the stuff we use will hold up in a 200 mph wind. No fun to remove either.

I remember climbing into the cab of the diesel, Prince William, the lead power of the British Royal Train. There, in the Railway Museum in York, UK, on the threshold of the cab door was, you guessed it, duct tape, and not just a little. Never know where you will find the stuff…
