My dad made a trip back to Ohio, where he grew up. He found 2 CSX yards so far, but I’m also hoping for Norfolk Southern. Are there any other yards within about 50 miles of Parkersburg or Marietta?
NS Hobson yard is on the lower end of Middleport,Ohio.
It’s a mile long,with 4 tracks,unless things have changed. It appears
to be under-used. The CSX yards at Parkersburg have much more
activity.
