Old Garden Railway's issues

Do you keep your older issues as a reference source for your Garden Railroad, for tips and techniques to make it better or to go back to the pull out plans?

I do and recently came in very handy, I needed to bend a 90 degree curve of code 250 aluminum rail. The plans were found and for around 5 dollars my trolley track will now be code 250 instead of code 332 and expanded with more of a custom fit along with being slightly lengthened. Just a nicer fit and appearance for my garden railroad layout.

I have all the GR issues going back to 1988. You may think I’m nuts, but I have each issue inside its own protector sheet, label by month and year, and stored in plastic magazine holders, labeled for the beginning date and ending date. I also keep the pull out plans in a separate 3 ring binder.

Yes I do! Everyone of them is very helpful!

Hey there,
I remove the plans and then file each seperately. It’s great sometimes to go back and look over old issues. What was not interesting at one time becomes what I need later. Funny how that works. Later eh…Brian.
