Recently I received a lot of old issues of MR. Most of these are from 1960 – 1980. It has been a lot of fun looking through them and seeing the topics the covered. One thing that has caught my attention is the plans drawn in most issues. Were any of the plans published in a book? I know a lot of the locomotives were published in Steam Locomotives but not all of them. I would like to get a copy of any books that may have been printed. Does anyone know where I can find them?

Most of the plans in the Model Railroader Cyclopedia: Steam Locomotives were published in the 1950s. Model Railroader has not published a book of more recent plans. (They did a volume of diesel plans that is available, and long, long ago a book of depot plans.)
Hundman Publications has a volume of steam locomotive plans, and is set to release a second volume.
Hey how is old Madel railriader doing? I heard her husband passed away a few years ago and that she closed the farm stand down on the interstate.
