Old time pics of Red Horses progress

I wanted to show some minor updates but also wanted to see what my layout would say to people if shown in a different light, or should I say lack of it.

What if the Blue Angels weren’t so blue?

Some how these old cars are more believeable,

And Graffitti don’t look so artistic here,

Well There it is a different view of our hobby, I will next experiment with old time cepia prints of my layout, they kind of give the whole thing a different feel.

happy rails, Jess.

Shooting your layout in black and white was a fun idea. I’d liked to have seen some trains in the photos. I look forward to seeing your sepia tone images. Next time remember… trains!

OOps, sorry about that Randall, I hadn’t noticed that I had no trains in those pictures until your post, yikes, two many 24 hour shifts I’d say.

So to make it up too ya, here you go!!!

This one is of my favorite Loco my Athrean F-7 in old cepia, This is the Cuda Ken custom.

This next one makes me realize just how much the colors matter to a trains whole look,

And this one just looks neat in cepia, this has been an interesting and fun experiment, I’d like to convert some of my favorite pics of others layouts in old style just to check them out.

Well, I’m off to bed, all this train fun is wearing me out, OH, I did get to paint my 3D mountains today!!!

Be well and live well,

Jesse Red Horse,
