What was the outcome of the accident? Who was at fault?
This has been beat to death here, but -
This happened on 6-14-2006 @ around 6:30AM in Kismet CA - the train with the camera was lined into the siding, but the approaching train (the other train) blew its signal and fouled the turnout for the siding just as our camera train was entering.
The train that was supposed to be holding the main was the cause of the accident. Nobody died, but the engineer on ‘our train’ was seriously injured. All three crew members of the other train were dismissed from service.
After a considerable amount of buffing and wax. Both lead engines involved in the accident were returned to service.

A co-worker of mine told me about this video on youtube so I checked it out . While I was watching it my wife noticed it and she freaked out and asked me if that could happen and I told her unfortunately , yes . I am surprised that nobody was killed in that accident .
