i have obtained two boxes of trains. 1 has a american flyer model 1337 the oriental in it and the other is a box of metal buildings with the name haener on it . it also has a lionel multivolt transformer with it . the instruction sheet has a copyright of 1928 on it can anybody tell me something about this set and if it is of any value. the box is a little worn but buildings and train are in very good condition . the engine says number 3112 on it and the cars are post office car , paul revere car and lexington cabbose.
Check with hobby shops in your area. Also check on RR clubs, if you haven’t already. Next stop is the ads in the model RR mags - MR and RMC. Finally, do a search on-line.
To the right person, they are probably worth plenty, assuming they are in good shape.
