Old Woman?

Does anyone know where I can find some infromation and photos on the “old woman”? You know the New York, Ontario, and Western. I read an article on them in a magazine and would like to know more.

Try nyow.org for the historical society. The have been several books on O&W over the years. I do not know if there are any in print now. Check with new and used book dealers.

There are a bunch of O&W books available, the most recent of which is “Rails Along the Oriskany” by John Taibi. The O&W historical group can put you in touch with what’s available. Model-wise Old & Weary Carshop just released a laser-cut O&W caboose kit and a new series of O&W structures; Stewart has a new run of O&W FT’s; Micro-Trains has FT’s coming in N scale next summer. [Quite a bit of stuff for a railroad of less than 600 miles of track that folded in 1957, eh?]
