Ole Maud

[?] The summer issue has a very interesting story of a " Malley" . The service record of that engine reminded me of another engine ( Malley) . I have lossed all the info and pics. of Ole Maud. Does any one have info on or where I can find this info at??. Long will " Mollys" history live.

Isn’t there a book about that engine…from the same 'house that published the Alco corp’s history…A Centennial History of…something like that?

I know of at least two “Mauds”. The one being considered here was a B&O compound 0-6-6-0 built in about 1901 or so that was billed as the first Mallet in American service. The other “Maud” is ATSF 90, a three-unit A-B-A set of FM Erie-builts.

[:)] The 0-6-6-0 that is the ole girl. Thank you for the info. Now I can do the researchon that engine.
