Olympia Logging Series: Part 29 - Custom locomotive lettering
Wow, Cody. Great patience! Thanks for the very informative video.
Well, Cody, I guess you decided it was time for a cool change … of the name on that locomotive! But seriously, this is an especially useful episode - I have some decal projects on the horizon. Thanks for showing all the great techniques.
THANK YOU CODY. I just spent the last five days in the hospital because of my heart. I can’t stop laughing. And laughter really is the best medicine.
Hey Cody, steady hand I aint got. But blotting the excess decal solution I gently roll the Q tip over the decal. Haven’t had any move yet.

Cody why weren’t the letters centered top to bottom like the were side to side?
Great tip on the Pledge.
I have been rewatching (for about the 3rd time) all the great episodes in the Olympia Logging Series. I do have a question, though. Rather than splicing together all the letters you needed from a pre-printed set of decals, would it have been feasible to make your own custom decals with the lettering you wanted using an ink-jet printer? I have seen ads for some of these but have never used them. I would love to see an MR video plus segment on printing your own custom decals, the pro’s and con’s, etc. Thanks again for all the great videos. Best hobby dollars I have ever spent.
