They shoulda brought back the LS&BC name! After all, they must own it, since they own Chicago Rail Link (which is LS&BC renamed).
Wasn’t the LS&BC the line that was repossessing Penn Central boxcars?
LS&BC was reputed to be repainting other railroads’ boxcars as its own, without paying for them. (I have no idea whether it was true.) It was neat for a few years to the the green LSBC switcher working NS’s Calumet Yard in Chicago.
